But while the start of a new school year is an exciting time for most families, many parents struggle to provide basic school necessities for their children.
There are approximately 1.5 million nonprofit organizations in the United States alone! In fact, the nonprofit sector currently employs more than 10% of the total workforce in the US. So why are people choosing to work at a nonprofit?
Did you know that Dallas ISD provides free breakfast and lunch to ALL their students? Since 2013, Dallas ISD has operated a program where all of their students have access to free meals, regardless of family income. This is an amazing benefit during the school year, but what about the summer?
